The purpose of the Stochastic and Physical Monitoring Systems conference is to discuss recent findings and ideas in various stochastic and physical topics such as Monitoring and classification of acoustic signals, Traffic and agent monitoring systems, Statistical distances and informational divergences, Small area estimation of geographical characteristics gained from data sets, and Data processing in high energy particle physics.

The meeting is intended to promote fruitful collaboration between students and experts from various institutes by bringing them together in inspiring surroundings. The priority is given to students and young scientists to orally present and defend their own work.


The meeting is organized by the Group of Applied Mathematics and Stochastics, Department of Mathematics, Czech Technical University in Prague and is supported by CTU grant SVK 26/17/F4.
